Monument Builders of North America

	Monument Builders of North America (MBNA) formed in 1905 to counsel and advise memorialists. They formulated a code of ethics and continue to sponsor studies designed to educate members in design and sales practices.
	MBNA Mission Statement: To define and promote Memorialization in aviable, innovative, and diversified way for the membership, and to enhance the
awareness of Memorialization by the general public and the remembrance industry.

Certified Memorialist

	To become a Certified Memorialist requires a 3 year study program. A Certified Memorialist raises the professional standards to those engaged in the Memorialization industry, and awards the top level of competence and ethical conduct.
The MBNA Certified Memorialist designation is the highest honor of professional achievement available in the memorial industry. Certification is awarded to the individuals, not a firm.
